RSC (Regular Slotted Container)
This is the most basic of all of your boxes. It's most recognizable
characteristic is that at least 2 of the flaps on each side meet in the
middle. |
 |
FOL (Full Overlap)
A version of the RSC with the only difference being more protection on the top and bottom of the pack.
Instead of the flaps meeting in the middle, they extend all the way to the other side.
|
 |
HSC (Half Slotted Container)
This is an RSC without any flaps on
one side. The flaps on the one side can either meet in the middle like an RSC or can fully overlap like an FOL depen-ding on the end use.
It is commonly used in conjunction with a tray as a lid. |
 |
POL (Partial Overlap)
On this carton, the flaps partly overlap
instead of meeting in the middle or extending to the other side. The
amount of overlap must be specified by the end user. |
 |
OPF (One Panel Folder)
Perfect for wrapping books or similar products. Also referred to as an Open Panel Folder or One Piece Folder.
|
 |
5PF (Five Panel Folder)
Acts as a tube or a wrap for long
products. The product may be
placed in the middle and the 5pf can be rolled up around it and then taped
or stapled. |
 |
Trays
Trays are slotted and scored so that
the sides fold up and can either be stapled, taped or glued. They can
be used for lids, displays, or simply for organizing or packing small
loose product.
